Shelter Homes

Shelter Homes are a form of Restorative Care, in which children who have experienced abuse, neglect and abandonment are cared for and helped to regain love and self worth.

The Homes

Shelter 1 - Petaling Jaya

Shelter 1 provides a home for children who have faced abuse, neglect, or abandonment. While most attend Government schools, those needing extra support receive homeschooling. Staff work 24-hour shifts, with an administrative officer managing school matters, volunteers, and events. Meals are prepared by a dedicated cook, overseen by a manager.

Shelter 2 - OUG, Kuala Lumpur

Shelter 2 is a home for teenage girls who have turned 13 at Shelter 1, as well as other abused teenage girls referred by the public. Here, the girls receive education and training to foster self-reliance and confidence. They're supported in post-SPM/STPM studies and engage in activities to foster independence and essential skills for future success.

Shelter 3 - Petaling Jaya

Shelter 3 is a home for teenage boys, including those from Shelter 1 turning 13 and those referred from abusive backgrounds. Here, they're guided to build confidence and supported for education or employment after SPM/STPM, aiming for success and financial independence.
